   I toyed around with doing this several different ways because I thought $50 for two straps and two clips was absolutely insane. I’m eventually broke down and just did it though. The clips that mount on the floor are extremely low profile so you don’t have to worry about tripping over them if the cooler is not in place. I have not found another clip or holder that works like that and is so thin. For me and my open boat that makes it worth the money

   I put these on the deck on the front of my fishing boat. I use my Yeti as a seat while I fish and use the trolling motor. I also like to stand on the Yeti to spot cast for reds. These straps do a perfect job of holding the cooler in place while driving on heavy chop, or just trailering down the road. The cooler will not budge when the straps are snug.

   I though this kit was very pricy, but realized its on par with all the other knock off brands. Might as well keep with the designer brand name and spend the few dollars more.

   I got into paddleboarding this summer – and I wanted to mount a cooler. So I did – using these Yeti tie-down straps. They’re perfect! I only needed the straps, since the board has its own system of accessory mounts. But the straps are rock-solid, and the cooler is too. The photo shows the trusty old Yeti Roadie 20 – I have since upgraded to the Yeti Tundra 35. Great for bringing cold ones across the lake. Also for fishing, and just having a seat out on the water to enjoy the day. Like everything made by Yeti, the straps are heavy-duty, and the metal cinches are built like a tank. Thank you, Yeti!

   It’s a quality product but it would not work for a four wheeler. So I sent the item back for a refund and it was totally unopened and I’m changed and I got charged a restocking fee. Not happy.

   So far so good. Disregard the negative reviews based on price from people who didn’t actually buy this thing. There is no better option if you need a flush , low profile system that won’t be issue if bare foot on deck. I installed on my casting deck with no issues.

   ** I swapped out the counter sink screws and went with 1” counter sink bolts with lock nuts and added some 5200.

   Great Yeti straps! We liked the idea of having our Yeti on the back of our Honda Foreman 4×4 so I bought these straps and they work great. The video on how to install was awesome and made putting these on very easy. If you got the Yeti you’ve got to have these straps haha.
