Wow, what a great backpack. I use it daily for my laptop and cord bags for work. I also used it to ski Colorado mountains. Works great in both uses. The outside straps can be removed and stored in a small interior utility pouch, so you don’t have to have the compression cords on it when there is no need. I put a velcro “shamrock” patch (available on yetioutlets.com) over the “Yeti” branding spot, so I can customize the appearance and not have to have the brand blared out. (Nice touch, Yeti–I like the velcro addition for unit patching.)
Thing seems pretty bulletproof so far. Holding up better than that $*%^#* North Face backpack I bought and watched dissolve in 6 months. (So done with that brand……)

The outer water bottle holders don’t work well with anything in the interior pockets. While 27l, the shape of the bag makes it seem smaller. Most importantly, the free returns don’t account for the $15 UPS label you have to pay for to send it back. Misleading in my opinion, but I’ll leave it to you to decide.

Bought the 27L Ranchero and I have no complaints on overall quality but the shipping process was delayed by three days. I mostly use this backpack for office work and storing my gym gear in case I go to my local gym. One day, I may try and store hunting gear within this product once I invest in quality gear.
